Madrid is a city steeped in history and culture, with vibrant streets brimming with energy. It’s famous for its impressive monuments, beautiful fountains, world-class museums, stunning architecture, delightful parks and squares, and so much more.

In addition to the renowned museums, bustling streets lined with diverse shops, and a wide range of international dining options, Madrid also offers serene historic spots that captivate all who stroll by.

After breakfast, you will meet the guide at the meeting point to go to Segovia, a small city that will surprise you from the moment you get off the bus.

The tour starts at the Aqueduct of Segovia, one of the oldest monuments in Spain. With more than 16 kilometers long, it was built over 2000 years ago. During the visit, you will discover how it was built, in which no cement was used, as well as the route that the water took to reach Segovia.

After this, you will visit Segovia Plaza Mayor. There, you will discover some of the city’s monuments, such as Casa de los Picos, whose facade has 617 granite peaks, or Plaza Medina del Campo. There, you will find the Catholic church called “Iglesia de San Martín”, built in 1117, and the “Torreón de Lozoya”, where you can go up in your free time and from where you will have a breathtaking view of Segovia.

Once you arrive in Plaza Mayor, you will find different monuments that will impress you, such as the Town Hall, the Juan Bravo Theatre, and the Cathedral of Segovia, where you will have a complete guided tour of its interior.

At the end of the visit to the cathedral, you will have some free time to enjoy Segovia at your leisure.

At the appointed time, you will meet again at the Plaza Mayor. It will be time to head towards the Alcázar of Segovia, also known as “Segovia Castle”, one of the most famous and well-preserved medieval castles in the world.

Once you finish your visit to Segovia Castle, the bus will be waiting to drive you to Madrid.

After a tasty breakfast, you will meet the guide at the meeting point to start the one-hour walking tour through the streets of the historic city center of Madrid.

First, you will stroll around Plaza de la Villa, the famous Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and Plaza de Oriente. Then, you will leave Plaza de Oriente and head to the magnificent Puerta de Toledo.

If you Walk some steps, you will see the bridge of Segovia (the oldest bridge in Madrid) and Manzanares River, from where it is possible to have great views of the Royal Palace of Madrid and the Almudena Cathedral.

After these, you will pass by Calle Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and Cortes Square (in Spanish, Plaza de las Cortes) on your way to Paseo del Prado, one of the main boulevards in Madrid.

Besides, during the tour, we’ll go through the Cibeles Fountain, where Real Madrid football team fans celebrate their team’s victories.

In the area, you will also admire the Puerta de Alcalá, the most famous of the five Neoclassical gates of Madrid. We’ll also see the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Paseo de la Castellana Street, and Colon Square.

Finally, our panoramic tour finishes with a visit to the Royal Palace of Madrid. You will skip the lines and dive right into the history of this beautiful palace. This marvelous construction was built in an Italian baroque style.

The Royal Palace of Madrid was the former residence of the Spanish Monarchy from 1766 to 1931. Nowadays, it still is a great example of the establishment of Madrid as the capital of the kingdom. Today, it holds the most important receptions of the Spanish crown.

Once the guided visit finishes, you can stay inside the Palace and visit the Royal Armoury of Madrid on your own.

After a satisfying breakfast, you will have the entire day to leisurely explore Madrid at your own pace.

You have various options to make the most of your day. You can visit the prominent museums and archaeological sites, immersing yourself in their rich history.

Alternatively, you can choose to venture outside of Madrid and explore the city of Toledo, known for its status as a Spanish national monument and World Heritage City.

Furthermore, you can use your free time to discover different neighborhoods in Madrid, such as the Conde Duque military quarters. This lively and bohemian neighborhood derives its name from the old barracks that once stood there. It offers a blend of modern and emerging shops with a vintage atmosphere.

While the Conde Duque neighborhood exudes tranquility, it stands in stark contrast to the vibrant energy found in Gran Via, the newly renovated Plaza de España, and Princesa Street, which define its southern boundaries.

You will enjoy your breakfast and, at the time indicated, a transfer will drive you to Madrid-Barajas airport to board your flight to Rome.

Upon your arrival in the Eternal City , one of our vehicles will be waiting for you to welcome and drive you to the hotel.
