After a 30-minute drive, you will arrive in Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The guide will welcome you and help you with the purchase of the tickets. When you enter the site you will hear the most interesting stories about Pompeii and what life was like before the eruption of Vesuvius.
You will also discover the most important places, such as the thermal baths, the frescoes of the Lupanare, the Macellum with its “taverns”, the famous workshops located in the commercial streets, the Basilica, and the House of Faun.
You will have the opportunity to take photos during the different stops. The tour inside the ruins will take about 1 hour and a half. The exact route will depend on the number of visitors and the weather conditions.
You will be transferred back to Naples, where your tour will come to an end.
DAY 3
After a delicious breakfast, you will travel along the Italian coast, and our guide will allow the group to get off and take beautiful photos of the landscape.
One of the stops will be in a factory where “Limoncello” and other delicious local products are made. Enjoy 1-hour free time in Sorrento to stroll through the picturesque and narrow streets and admire the countless artisan shops. At this point, the tour will leave the bay of Naples and the coast of Sorrento to approach to Amalfi Coast.
You will reach Positano and you will stop in the downtown. This tour to Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi includes a stop in a sought-after restaurant with a breathtaking terrace overlooking the sea as well.
After the lunch break, you will reach Amalfi, the most important town on the coast. Once in Amalfi during our free time of 1 hour, we suggest visiting the stunning and evocative St. Andrew’s Cathedral or lying down on the beach and tasting a local handmade ice cream.
DAY 4
After breakfast, you will start the visit to Capri. Your tour will begin with a hydrofoil trip to Capri. Once on the island, a minibus will take us to Anacapri where we will have free time to walk.
After lunch, we will visit Capri and the Augustus Gardens. In the late afternoon, we will return to Naples by hydrofoil.
Capri is an island in the Bay of Naples, famous for its rugged scenery, exclusive hotels, and commerce, from designer fashions to limoncello and handmade leather sandals.
One of its best-known natural sites is the Blue Grotto, a dark cavern where the sea shines with an electric blue color, the product of sunlight passing through an underwater cave. In the summer, Capri’s spectacular cove-lined coastline attracts many yachts.
DAY 5
After breakfast, a transfer will take you to the train station to board Rome.
For centuries, the Neapolitan city has been the home of artisans, and today you can still find unique and traditional objects whose manufacturing techniques were passed down from generation to generation. They are a good gift to take as a souvenir from Naples.
