DAY 1

At the appointed time we will take the second class train to Naples, capital of the Italian Campania region.

Transfer on our own to the hotel.

Naples, or Napoli for Italians, is a major port city in the south of Italy in the Campania region. With 4.4 million inhabitants (‘Neapolitans’), it is the third largest city in Italy. The chaotic city has everything for an inspiring city trip because of the rich history, the Italian cuisine and especially in the field of art and culture, the city has a lot to offer.

DAY 2

After breakfast we will leave to visit Naples on the double-decker bus that will take us to discover the most beautiful and evocative places in Naples, a magical city, rich in history, traditions, art and landscapes.

In Naples there are innumerable artistic treasures that can be visited: the historic center, a world heritage site protected by Unesco; the palaces, the churches, the catacombs and the underground passages, the Archaeological Museum; the places of medieval and Renaissance power clustered around Castel Nuovo and the Royal Palace; the unforgettable seafront, from Castel dell’Ovo to Posillipo. The area of ​​the Vomero hills offers, in the exemplarily furnished and restored buildings of the Royal Palace of Capodimonte and the Charterhouse of San Martino, museum collections that are among the most important in the world.

DAY 3

DAY 4

After breakfast and at the indicated time a transport will pick us up at our hotel to take us to the famous Sorrento. Arrival at the hotel and accommodation Sorrento is a beautiful little city where kindness and hospitality represent a pairing that is passed down from generation to generation. For this very reason, Sorrento has seen many civilizations: the Etruscans, the Greeks, the Oscans, the Romans. At the beginning of the 18th century, a period of cultural, economic and social renaissance began for the entire Sorrento peninsula, which reached its peak during the 19th century when tourism in this town was born and consolidated, thanks to the so-called “Grand Tour”, trip that all the young European nobles of that time made to complete their cultural, historical and literary training, and to the elite tourism of the 1800s when they built the first large hotels, which are still present.Thus, illustrious guests such as Byron, Keats, Scott, Dickens, Goethe, Wagner, Ibsen, and Nietzsche, just to name a few, came to Sorrento.

DAY 5

No holiday in Sorrento is complete without a trip to the enchanting island of Capri. We will spend an unforgettable day in the little treasure of the Mediterranean!

We will meet our expert local guide in Sorrento and embark on ferry toward the Island of Capri. Arrived in Capri we will take a boat ride to the popular and dreamy “Grotta Azzurra” (Blue Grotto), where sunlight passes into an underwater cavity and shines through the seawater, creating a magical blue reflection. After returning to the port we’ll board on a minibus for a scenic drive to Anacapri, 918 feet (280 meters) above the sea level. we’ll see wonderful views of the bay of Naples before continuing to a local restaurant for lunch.

After lunch we can take advantage of some free time to explore Capri at our leisure or go shopping. Then we’ll return to Marina Grande and embark back to Sorrento.

The tour ends at Sorrento’s port .

DAY 6

After a delicious breakfast, you will spend a leisurely day exploring Sorrento, the jewel of the Sorrentine peninsula, famous for the cultivation of oranges, lemon, and olive trees.

You could also opt for a day excursion to the island of Capri (not included). Return to your hotel in Sorrento for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 7

After breakfast our transfer will take us to the train station in Naples to embark for Rome.
