DAY 1
After your arrival in the capital of Jordan, a person from our English-speaking team will be waiting to assist you and inform all the details of your trip and clear up any type of doubt or query you may have, as well as give you a brief presentation of the city and its day to day. The transfer to the hotel in Amman will be made by one of our private air-conditioned vehicles.
At the hotel, your assistant will help you with the registration. The rest of the day will be to relax and start enjoying the hotel’s comforts.
DAY 2
After a tasty breakfast you will visit Ajloun Castle, built on top of a mountain during the 8th century by the Mamluks and which perfectly reflects Islamic architecture. The castle commanded the three main routes leading to the Jordan Valley and protected the trade routes between Jordan and Syria, reason why it was a strategic defensive point at the time of the Crusaders. From here you will enjoy beautiful views.
Next you will go to Jerash, one of the best preserved cities of the Roman Empire outside of Italy where you will travel back in time through its streets, theaters, temples and squares. Among its monuments, the Great Colonnade, the Arc de Triomphe, the Oval Square and the Temples of Zeus and Artemis stand out.
Then you will go to the lowest place on earth, the Dead Sea and the Moab desert, the world’s first natural spa. You will have free time to take a bath in its healing waters, an inexplicable experience.
Return to Amman to have dinner and accommodation.
DAY 3
After an exquisite breakfast you will mae a panoramic visit of the city oif Amman, after touring its most important places we will leave the city towards Madaba, the fifth most populous city in Jordan known as the “City of Mosaics” because it preserves the oldest cartographic representation of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. You will visit the Orthodox Church of Saint George, on whose floor is the mentioned mosaic.
You will continue to Mount Nebo from where you will enjoy the unique view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. This place is important because according to the Bible, Moses saw the Promised Land to which he led the Israelites before dying.
Following your route to Petra you will make a stop to see “Um Al Rasas”, an archaeological site with ruins from the Roman, Byzantine and proto-Muslim civilizations, here you can see the mosaics of the Church of San Esteban that illustrates the most important cities of the region.
You will arrive at your final destination Petra, where you will have dinner and overnight.
DAY 4
After a tasty breakfast at the hotel, you will begin a full day visit to the city of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the seven wonders of the modern world and the setting for the famous movie “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”. Created on pink rock more than 2000 years ago and rediscovered to the world in 1812. Mounted on the back of beautiful horses you will go from the main entrance to the narrow gorge, and from there on foot to the Treasury (the best-known building in Petra). You will visit the Theater, the Royal Tombs, the Altar of Sacrifice and the Street of the Columns. Petra is one of the places you must visit at least once in your life.
At the end of the visit you will go to the nearby town of Al Beida, also known as Little Petra (UNESCO World Heritage Site), 14 km north of the original Petra and which archaeologists consider the suburbs.
You will continue your route until you reach Amman, where you will have dinner and overnight.
DAY 5
You will enjoy the breakfast and, at the indicated time, transfer to the Amman airport to board your departure flight.
